Hook 'Em

Okay, let's move past the fact that this is a hideous photo of me, but I did want to share our Longhorn pride. Currently the National Championship just started the 2nd quarter and before too many emotions got thrown into the game I wanted to publish the post. This is a picture of Madison and me before we left for school and work. And.......look Dad......a Longhorn tattoo on my face! All of those stocking stuffers came in handy. :) She is also sporting one of the shirts you got us. Go baby Longhorn outfitters.......aka Dad and Natalia.

Max didn't disappoint in his game attire either. This is him happy in the early parts of the 1st quarter. He is no longer sitting, but rather pacing. And...yup, I just heard the dip come out. Stress is on.

Either way, go Longhorns!

Just to Capture Her at 7 Months

I was sitting in the living room the other day, amazed at how beautiful and playful my little girl is and wanted to capture her at this age. I'd love to see how I was at her age, so I thought I'd shoot a quick video to show her at some point and you all now how Miss Madison is at 7 months.

Christmas 2009

Our Griswold lights. Looks okay in the photo, but don't think we didn't rig this bad boy. Curtain lights hanging from the garage and multi-color lights from the dead tree up front.

Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Bright Winter. Holly Jolly. Warm Wishes. Cheers!

What a wonderful Christmas season. So much love, so much to share with Madison. It's hard to imagine that a tradition that you've done so many times before can change as you experience it with someone new. Max, Maddie and I had a wonderful holiday break and made a tour of central Texas in order to complete Christmas. We had 7 days and 6 nights. The trip started in San Antonio with Max's family, then we stopped in Georgetown at my mom's and then ended up at my dad's. It was hard and exhausting, but so worth it. We've got tons of memories and photos to share!

The front door we left as we drove away.

Brrrrr.......Maddie had to snuggle up for the cold car ride South.
Madison's Christmas service attire. Beautiful!

Maddie and her Mimi pre-candlelight service.
Yup, that's me and my baby.

Lil' Miss fell asleep in the candlelight service and then miraculously woke up for presents. Kids must have that instinct built in!
Maison got some 'pink lady' shades along with an adorable leopard and pink print bathing suit.
Cousin Kirby was an excellent Maddie lover.
.....and look who else is coming around.....Uncle Alex!
Bright eyed and bushy tailed for Christmas Day. Thank you, Aunt Lacey for the outfit!
She is just tickled!
I'm sorry I just couldn't stop taking photos of my lil' lady.
At Grandma's, wearing one of her new skirts.
Oooh, Christmas presents taste good!

Cousin Henry and Uncle Tim working their magic on a present.
Yup, Christmas still tastes good.
No question, Madison and Henry racked up some presents. Featured on the right....her first 'laptop'.
My big girl and her sippy cup.
Great Grandmother and Maddie
At home, at last! Max and Madison enjoying some of the presents.

Thank you everyone for a fantastic Christmas. Madison is one lucky girl girl (as are we). Cheers to a Happy New Year!
