Introducing the New Mr. Locke!

Went with Misty today to her Dr.'s appointment/sonogram. It was so fun because she and Tim have felt so certain about it being a boy, so I really enjoyed hyping up the 'what if's'. In fact, Misty was so excited nervous that she misspelled her last name when she signed in at the Dr.'s office......Misty Lock...haha! Silly, Misty.

Nonetheless, Misty and Tim are having a little boy.....and the Locke dynasty continues. Picture of the couple is right before they were called back.

The Evolution of the Nursery

While not complete, we are making progress! Max is quite the handy man....he painted and used the power tools that helped put the changing table together. The dresser should be here soon, but the crib is on back-order until next month. :( And oh yes, those are green walls and we love them!

Georgetown Baby Shower - 3/22

Hooray for showers! Susie Teitelebaum and Beth Allen (mom's friends) threw a lovely shower where about 20 family/friends showed up. It was so overwhelming because I wanted to talk to everyone, but sometimes that is impossible. Hopefully everyone understood. It was so much fun opening up the sweet baby gifts and getting to 'ooh' and 'aah' over them.

It was even more fun when I got home to re-create the baby shower experience for Max and the dogs. I wish I had a photo of this part because by the end of the 'show' Allie was just as attentive as Max. Reese and Calvin went their own way when I scolded them for trying to steal the baby's stuffed animals....that will be a challenge for sure. Nonetheless, the photos are from a wonderful day with family and friends in celebration of Baby Madison.
